I'm thrilled (and extremely humbled) to announce that Thread Integrations' app, StopWatch has been recognised, among some of the best apps in the HubSpot App Marketplace, as an "Essential App for Customer Service" by HubSpot. You can check out HubSpot's announcement on their Community Forum Post.
Since launching in 2022, we have been entirely dedicated to delivering an intuitive HubSpot time tracking experience that feels native, making this acknowledgment particularly meaningful to us.
The inspiration for creating StopWatch stemmed from my frustration in searching for a time tracking solution that worked well with HubSpot. At the time, there really wasn't much out there designed specifically for HubSpot (and nothing that was managed entirely within HubSpot's UI), so I decided to take it upon myself to create such an app. We've been slowly but surely growing since our 2022 launch, nearly exclusively from customer referrals and organic discovery via our HubSpot App Marketplace Listing.
Along the way, StopWatch has gone through many iterations and improvements, the great majority of which have stemmed directly from feature requests made by our amazing customers. The ideas our customers come up with are always awesome and it really makes me happy to be able to make them a reality.
Our gradual growth and improvement of app features enabled us to successfully attain HubSpot App Certification in 2024 and now has contributed to our nomination as an "Essential App for Customer Service" in 2025.
As a small Australian business, to be named among global brands like Google, Microsoft, Slack and many more is extremely humbling. Thinking back to when I first started working on StopWatch in 2022, I never would have imagined that possible.
As such, I'd like to thank our customers for their continued support. I'd also like to thank HubSpot and all the HubSpotters I've worked with over the years. I really value your continued partnership and commitment to providing an excellent platform, both for end users and developers alike.
If you'd like to take StopWatch for a test drive, feel free to head over to our app homepage and check out what all the fuss is about 😉
